Shoreline Stabilization and Erosion Control

As wind and/or boat driven waves crash into the shoreline, they cause the bank to erode. Shoreline erosion results in loss of property, loss of trees, undercutting, slumped banks, and reduced water quality due to sediment pollution. Using a combination of grading, erosion fabrics, rocks, and in some cases native plantings, we will repair and protect your shoreline from this phenomenon. All stabilization projects must be approved by Duke Energy and comply with their Shoreline Management Plan.
